This allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, attribute waitlist sign-ups to specific ads, and serve retargeted advertisements to users who have visited our website but have not yet signed up.
• Analytics data: We use the following analytics tools to collect usage data:
  • Google Analytics 4 (property ID: G-ZK81JFSDCR) — collects usage data including pages visited, session duration, device type, and general geographic location. Data is processed by Google LLC. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • PostHog — collects product analytics including feature usage, click events, and session recordings (where enabled). Data is processed by PostHog Inc. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel Analytics — collects aggregated, cookieless traffic data including page views and Web Vitals performance metrics. No personal identifiers are collected. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a minor, we will take immediate steps to delete that data and close the associated account. Note: We use advertising pixels from X (Twitter) and Reddit on our website for the purposes described in Section 10A. These pixels are distinct from our affiliate tracking cookies and operate only on parallaxedge.com (not within the platform once you are logged in). You can opt out of advertising pixel tracking via the cookie settings tool in our website footer, or directly through the platform opt-out mechanisms described in Section 10A.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the Cookie Settings tool in the footer of our website.

10A. Advertising Pixels

We use advertising pixels provided by X Corp (operating X, formerly Twitter) and Reddit, Inc. on the parallaxedge.com website. These pixels are small pieces of code that load when you visit our website and allow the respective platforms to:

• Confirm that you visited parallaxedge.com after viewing or clicking one of our advertisements
• Attribute waitlist sign-up conversions to specific ad campaigns
• Enable us to show retargeted advertisements to users who visited our website but did not sign up

Data collected by advertising pixels

When an advertising pixel fires, the relevant platform may collect data including your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, the URL you visited, and — if you are logged into that platform — your platform account identifier. This data is processed by X Corp and Reddit, Inc. under their respective privacy policies, not under this policy.

We receive only aggregated, anonymised campaign performance data (e.g. number of conversions attributed to a campaign). We do not receive your individual identity from these platforms as a result of pixel activity.

Legal basis

In the US, our legal basis for advertising pixel use is legitimate interests (measuring and optimising paid advertising to build product awareness). In the UK and EU, we rely on your consent for non-essential cookies including advertising pixels — these are controlled via our cookie consent tool. In Australia, we rely on legitimate interests where consent is not specifically required under the Privacy Act 1988, but provide opt-out controls consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

How to opt out

You may opt out of advertising pixel tracking at any time by:

• Using the cookie settings tool accessible from the footer of our website and declining the "Advertising & Retargeting" category
• Visiting the platform-specific opt-out links in the table above
• Using your browser's "Do Not Track" setting (note: not all browsers or platforms honour this signal)
• Installing an ad blocker that blocks tracking pixels

Opting out will not affect your ability to use parallaxedge.com or to sign up for the waitlist. It will prevent us from attributing your visit to a paid advertisement, and will prevent retargeted ads from being shown to you on X or Reddit.

Pixel scope

Advertising pixels operate only on the public-facing parallaxedge.com website (including the waitlist landing page). They are not loaded within the authenticated platform once you have signed in. We do not use advertising pixels to track your behaviour inside the platform.
